Why did Evangelist Kennedy recently add a prayer for the Presidency & Congress after each sermon?
Although Pastor D. James Kennedy died last year his show on TNB never stopped. They rebroadcast only the ones with criticisms appropriate to the present government. His daughter now has a prolog and an epilog for each show. Three weeks ago she added a prayer for the President and Congress which seems to contradict the intention of the day's sermon. It is jarring and puzzling to me because it seems to stand out from the content of the sermon. A curse would be more appropriate, not a prayer. Why have they added the prayer and does it strike you the same as me?
